President Mary Rubino founded Trans Express in 1985.
With help from her sister and V.P., Antionette Rubino and mother Josephine Rubino, Mary went on to build the family run bus company that would be a pioneer for women in this industry. Trans Express has spent the last 25 years as one of the leading independently owned bus transportation companies in NYS. As a certified small, woman owned business, Trans Express Inc. has shocked and unnerved the competition by leaping over the hurdles set forth by being a female presence in a male dominated business.

Today with a fleet of 35 mini buses, 15 coaches and 12 midsized buses, Trans Express is proud to move some of the world's largest corporations daily. All of our drivers are 19A certified and trained in our own in house training program. Drivers are dressed in chauffeur’s uniforms and display the utmost in professionalism and customer courtesy.

Trans Express holds a 95% rating with NYS department of transportation. With impressive resumes, our maintenance team performs pre-maintenance services on all vehicles every 3000 miles. Drivers and dispatchers perform pre and post inspections on all vehicles coming in and out of base. If there are any issues, they are immediately written up and put in our system for maintenance.

Trans Express stays in contact with drivers using the latest technology in Sprint radio systems. In addition, all of our vehicles are monitored using state of the art global tracking units. Our dispatch office is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dispatchers at Trans Express have a minimum of 10 years experience in the bus transportation industry. To ensure your safety and security, we have installed drive cams that record all incidents and upload immediately to the internet and are viewable by our staff.

Trans Express charter department employs friendly, helpful and knowledgeable booking agents. Our charter department is open Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm.Our agents are always willing to help you find cost effective solutions for your transportation needs.

Our Chauffeurs

We screen and train each chauffeur individually before we decide to hire them. Our chauffeurs must meet or exceed a level of service and excellence that has been set by our senior chauffeurs and as a matter of policy, all chauffeurs are subject to comprehensive driver training and screening processes, including periodic drug screening, background checks and record review. Extensive training programs and other safety related materials are mandatory for every bus driver.

Trans Express drivers are all certified with article 19-A of the federal transportation law.
